My father, Valleon Sylvester was on the USS West Virginia before WWII. His last ship was USS Finch which was sunk 1942 then spent several years as POW in Japanese camps. He died 10-24-44 on the hell ship Arisan Maru. I am searching for links to him. mvacstanley@mindspring.com
