USS West Virginia Reunion 2009

The 2009 USS West Virginia (BB-48) reunion took place from September 13-17 in Charleston, South Carolina.  During the 5 days in Charleston, the following events were enjoyed:

• VIP visit to the Confederate submarine Hunley
• Tour of Historic Charleston
• Patriot's Point and USS Yorktown
• Fort Sumter
• Fort Moultrie and Boone Hall Plantation
• Ice Cream Social
• Nightly Bull sessions and trading of sea stories in the Hospitality Room.
• Closing Banquet
• Memorial service for crew members who have passed since the last reunion.
