The letter below was enclosed with Clarence Hover's 1940 USS West Virginia Crosses the Equator book.  The letter is addressed to his friend Sam E. Hughes of the 162d Infantry at Camp Murray, Washington and another unidentified friend referred to only as "Watso".  Click the images for larger images.
