USS West Virginia Veteran

Ensign Vail was commissioned in June, 1941, from the USNA, and assigned to the West Virginia as Assistant Navigation Officer, and was on the flag bridge with LT Ricketts and CAPT Bennion. (Please see LT Rickett's report)  CAPT Vail is now retired and lives in Florida.
