Elmer H. Breeze was aboard the USS West Virginia during the Japanese attack on Pearl Harbor.  He survived the Attack with burns and went on to serve aboard the USS Salt Lake City (CA-25).

Elmer Breeze passed away on October 12th, 2000 after a long illness.
